Outdoor Education Vision

Outdoor education and adventure activities at Holly House School aim to make a significant contribution to the personal development of all our students.

Through a personalised approach to teaching and learning that offers challenge, we use adventure activities and on / off site experiences to develop positive outcomes in personal, social and health education.

Students learn the benefits of the outdoors including for their mental health and skills for life.  Promoting a positive ‘opting in’ and ‘can do’ attitude, we can focus on chosen outcomes to meet the needs of individuals but the following are typical benefits from this curriculum area:
