Safeguarding at Holly House School

Working together to keep children safe, supported and thriving
At Holly House School, safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and the wellbeing of our children comes first. We are committed to creating a safe, caring and inclusive environment where every child feels protected, valued and able to grow.
We understand that children learn and develop best when they feel secure, understood and supported by trusted adults. Our safeguarding approach is therefore child‑centred, trauma‑informed and rooted in positive relationships. We take time to listen to children, notice early signs of concern and act promptly to provide the right support.
Safeguarding is not just about responding to risk — it is about prevention, support and partnership. We work closely with families and with other professionals to make sure children receive help as early as possible, reducing the risk of issues becoming more serious.
